How long do orders take to ship?

You can expect to receive your custom kick plate in 2 weeks or less for traditional Kick Plates. Some custom, monogrammed, and bulk order options may require up to 3 weeks for manufacturing to be completed. We aim to surprise you with an early delivery.

What is your return / exchange policy on door plates?

Because we make our products custom just for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for any of our custom sized or engraved door plates.

Please measure twice and order once to be sure you get the correct fit.

Please ensure you are ordering the correct mounting option
for your specific needs and door type.

Returns for stock items are accepted when the customer takes the responsibility of return shipping cost.

-All returns must be received
within thirty (30) days of the original delivery date.

-Items must be returned in their
original condition, in the original packaging, with a copy of the order confirmation.

We do not offer exchanges, instead we please ask you to place a new order.

We do not accept returns on bulk orders.

What is your shipping policy?

All individual orders within the lower 48 states (US)
include FREE SHIPPING from UPS. Shipping insurance is included on your order, so if there is a complication or
problem with shipping, we will get it taken care of promptly. Please include your e-mail address for tracking information.

Hawaii, Alaska, Armed Forces Pacific, Armed Forces Europe,
U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Palau, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, Marshall Islands, Micronesia ship for a flat rate of $35.00.

Shipping outside of the US will be calculated at checkout
and shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited.

Bulk orders will be subject to individual shipping charges.

No PO Boxes, please.

What if my kick plate is damaged in shipping?

Should your product be damaged during shipping, take a photo of the damaged package and item and email it to sales@DeckTheDoorDecor.com with reference to your order number. We will send you a new replacement kick plate as soon as possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as PayPal.

How do I know what size kick plate to order?

Generally speaking, your kick plate should be the width of your door, minus 2 inches. For front doors our 8 inch x 34 inch size is often a good fit, and for all other doors generally our 6 inch x 30 inch plates fit. However, it you should still measure to ensure the best fit as door sizes have changed over time. You can find detailed instructions here on measuring for your door protection plate.

Do you offer custom sizing on kick plates for doors?

Of course! Our two standard sizes are designed to fit most doors. However, for custom or older doors, custom sizing may be required. We can make any sized kick plate for a small additional machining cost. Just send us an email at sales@DeckTheDoorDecor.com with your specific requirements if you do not see the size you need offered on our site.

Are these products patented, copyright protected and trademark registered?

Yes, all of our kick plates for doors products are patent pending, registered copyrights, and the Deck the Door Decor trademark is registered.

Are adhesive mount plates removable?

Yes, our 3M adhesive plates are removable. The chemical bond characteristics of the adhesive can result in varied removal difficulty, depending on the surface finish of your door. Some latex finishes can be damaged in removal of the 3M adhesive, please use caution.

Will magnetic mount plates work on all doors?

No, magnetic mount plates will only bond to steel doors.

Not all metal doors are steel, please check your door with a refrigerator magnet before purchasing this option.

Do screw mount plates come with matching hardware?

Yes, all screw mount options come with color matching #6 x ¾” screws.

How do I install my door plate?

What is the thickness of the door plates?

All of our anodized aluminum plates are industry standard 0.040”, or 18-gauge, thickness.
